Meet my mom and my inspiration

I dedicate this business to my mom, Susan E. Miller who passed away in April of 2017 from a very short battle with cancer but suffered from Alzheimer’s as well. She was creative in sewing new clothes from patterns for me and my sisters when we were young, crocheting beautiful blankets and other items, painting beautiful wood décor, ceramics, and rubber stamping and card making.
My goal is to continue to help and donate to those suffering from Alzheimer’s or memory loss, like my mom suffered. One of my mom’s neighbors in Florida, Donna, would always talk to me about my mom’s memory loss because Donna’s father suffered from Alzheimer’s as well. Donna always said to me, “You’re making moments, not memories.” While the “moments” were true for my mom, I was making memories for myself; hence the name Making Moments and Memories. Please join me as I nurture this business in memory of my mother, Susan E. Miller. She was a loving and nurturing mother who taught me to be creative.
I started paper crafting and ink stamping with my mom about 25 years ago, and we always had so much fun – even if we made mistakes. I have inherited all of her expertise and continue to use STAMPIN’ UP! products and tools. Every time I stamp and craft, I think of my mom. With my oldest sister being local, she and I continue to laugh and make memories in our mom's honor.
Many thanks to my husband, Rob, and my oldest sister, Lizbeth, for their constant support, help, and love.
